Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"If you are looking for tasty, very good and typical mallorquina food, this is definitely the place to be. In a traditional cellar ambiance you will have a nice choice of meals. I recommend the "sopa mallorquina" (for two as a starter) and do not miss the "calamari farci". Prices are quite affordable and the service is very efficient and friendly!"
"Good restaurant, with a decent variety of food, staff was nice. My celiac friend didn't have many food options though"
"A really nice Mallorquin Place with authentic menu. My husband and I had the cod with mushrooms and the lamb. I have to say that I haven't eaten such a delicious and freshly tasting lamb before on this island. We ordered a glass of red wine which just went perfectly with the lamb. I really liked their interior with the odd barrels. The one on the picture I posted has an opening so you can look inside. It smells like red wine still. And the staff is super friendly and speaks English really well too."
"Despite being very busy with bookings, they accommodated a table for two. Clearly popular with locals and authentic Mallorca cuisine. Charming setting and our waiter was really polite. We had frites mallorquin, sobrasada filled lamb and cod can lau - all were good size and tasty. €68 for two with 1/2 litre wine, a shared dessert and coffee so good value too."
"Incredible food, positive reviews are accurate. Great service and fair portions. Authentic home cooked style food."
"Octopus stew here was the best dish I had in Mallorca. House wine is excellent too."
"We were welcomed by a really nice waitress that explained us the dishes. We liked everything we ordered. We highly recommend the traditional frito de sepia mallorquin, a stir fry consists of potatoes, vegetables and cuttlefish with fennel and spices. We took a half portion (as seen in the pictures) as a starter. Even better are the homemade desserts! Especially the cream cheese ice with fig jam is a must have. It was so good that we came back the next day just for the desserts."
"Excellent traditional food in a beautiful Cellar setting. Service was exceptional. Highly recommended and very popular with local diners. Glad we booked via email as tables were at a premium. Goats cheese salad to share followed by stuffed lamb and Cod Can Lau. House wine €8 a litre for any variety."
